To celebrate the release of Late Eclipses [Amazon]|[Mysterious Galaxy], here. Have an open thread to discuss the book.

I really loved how this book was a game changer as far as Toby's bloodline goes. I felt that it was well hinted at without actually being something I had considered, and the surprise felt appropriate. Of course, now I desperately want to go back and reread all the other books to see your hinting, which I fully intend on doing. It also gave her more power in a way that felt realistic and right for her, rather than the typical 'new book, new power' that some other authors have done (*cough*Anita Blake*cough*) that end up with the protagonist being a tad on the unbelievable side.

Also, I'm completely in love with Tybalt, and continue to be in favor of 'all Tybalt all the time'. :)

IAWTC. Powering up characters is a hard thing to do realistically, but I really liked how it was done with Toby!

I especially like how it adds to the explanation of how Toby hasn't died yet from all the various injuries she has had inflicted on her. It was very well done.

Nobody is allowed give Toby an adamantium skeleton! Even if she would get cool claws.

I have this odd temptation to do crossover with Toby and Stephanie Plum, but it might now have to be early Toby.

Early Toby would work, especially early leave-me-alone Toby. But only if Grandma Mazur can meet Tybalt.

Alternatively, I'd love for Toby to hit a craft fair someday to buy a knife and encounter Meg Langslow. Meg does take commissions....

Since the X-Men are currently based in San Francisco you REALLY should have a crossover.
