Today's the day! The eclipse is right on time!

It's official! Late Eclipses [Amazon]|[Mysterious Galaxy] is now available from fine bookstores everywhere in North America, and from many fine bookstores elsewhere in the world! HOORAY!

Here are a few things to help you celebrate:

Firstly, there are gorgeous Late Eclipses wallpapers and icons available now at my website! Dress your computer in its Toby-related finery, and enjoy Tara's increasingly incredible work every time you make a post or minimize your active windows. Wallpapers and icons from previous books are also available.

I've done a shiny new interview over at the Qwillery, and you can win a copy of Late Eclipses! Dust off your Shakespeare and get ready for a good time, or at least the kind of time that involves hearing about my writing process in faintly silly terms.

Because people ask a lot: every sale counts, and if it's a legit sale (IE, not from a guy in a trenchcoat standing behind the 7-11), I get paid for it. In order of "how helpful is this," it goes brick and mortar stores first, because a sale from them often leads to a re-order; online retailers second, since again, they have to restock when they run out; and ebooks third, as those never need to be replenished. Take two, they're small.

Finally, I am going to be at Borderlands Books this afternoon, doing a swing-through stock-signing. If you want a signed book, and will be unable to make my March 19th Borderlands event, you can call the store and place an order any time after 12:00 PST (when they open). I'm also willing to sign the first three books, Feed, Zombiesque, and Tales From the Ur-Bar (also coming out today).

Happy bookday to me!

So amazingly, I find myself with ten dollars to spare. So I'm going to go buy Late Eclipses. And a coke. :-)
This is exciting for me, because I never have spare cash. And... Even though I've read it (LEGALLY I never steal books!), I need a paperback Late Eclipses to keep my bookshelf looking even!
Yay on all counts!
i've been out of town since friday afternoon -- came home and my copy was in my mailbox! :kermit flail: of course, i have to finish reading Jeremy's "crossed" first and get my eric fix ... but i'm almost finished!!! GAAH!
I fully understand, and Crossed was awesome.

I got Late Eclipse today and started reading immediately. I love Toby and get so excited when you have a new one coming out. Something that made me love you even more is when I read your acknowledgments and saw that you are a Glee fan. I'm a Puck fan. Got to love the bad boys.
Hee, yay.

I love me some Glee, it's true.
I went to the Borders here, but they don't have it yet. It's "in transit." *sadface* I'll be back on the weekend, though!
Good luck!

Awesomesauce.
Happy Book Day!
I picked up my copy at lunch!
Yay!
We got four copies in the store. I immediately put them on my "Staff Picks" up at the front of the store. Then later in the day a woman came up to me asking for "that new book with the Toby Daye character," and I magically handed her a copy and she left delighted!

Will try and get my review up later this week.
Yay!
The hubby bought me one while I was at work and when he gets home from work I WILL HAVE IT.

Now to finish math homework and client photo proofs...
Awesome.
Happy Bookday to all of us! Got mine on the way home from work today; can't wait to read it! Congrats to you!
Thank you!
I just picked up our copy from the Avid Reader in Davis (local indie bookstore). They were good and waited for the official release date to call those of us who'd put in preorders. I also ran into a woman picking up her copy at the same time - she discovered you a week ago and loves the series. Word is spreading. :)
Yay!
That was at least ten different types of amazing. Thank you.
I have a paper copy from Other Change of Hobbit, and downloaded the epub from Penguin only to find out I can't read it on my brand of ereader :-( So now I get to go buy a second paper copy.

Just helpin' out here...
Thanks!
Thank you for another book! Now if only I had some way not to finish it by morning. Oh yeah, I could sleep... Nah. That would be silly.
Hee.
Congratulations! ♥♥♥
Thank you!

That was all kinds of good.

And let me just add, in a non-spoilery sort of way, those were some very interesting questions you chose to answer in your background pieces.
Hee.

Thank you.
Okay, confirmed Borders at Columbus Circle (one of the two we're not losing in NYC) has it, and nice man says a copy is on hold under my name behind the register, so I can get it after my physical therapy today.
Okay, have picked up my plunder.

I love passages that make me giggle and read them aloud to complete strangers. I think I found 3 in the first 10 pages. /insert Mr Burns voice here/ EXCELLENT!

Hooray!
The sky is blue, the sun is shining, there is a light breeze. It is neither hot nor cold outside. Late Eclipses is on my Kindle and CDBaby has delivered Wicked Girls.

Now if I just had the day off, it would be the definition of a PERFECT day.
The nice lady at Barnes and Noble took pity on me when I finally got there in what was by then early evening - they hadn't unpacked the copies and put them on the shelves yet, but she went to the back and got it for me anyway. And now it's too long until September . . . .

(I am pleased with myself that my surmise regarding Toby's heritage turned out to be correct. I'm not sure if I paid more attention to certain statements in the previous books than Toby did because she was understandably distracted or because she's good at ignoring things she doesn't want to deal with.)
A little bit from column "A", a little bit from column "B", and a whole lot from column "we tend to believe the lies our parents tell us, if they tell them early enough."
Burned through LATE ECLIPSES last night. Goddamn, you're good. And they just keep getting better.
Thank you. :) :) :)
I stayed up way too late last night and finished it.

... may I have more cake, please?
Cake for you!
