I have a book coming out! Let's give stuff away!

It's time for my exciting Book Four GIVEAPALOOZA!!!! (Cue iCarly excited crowd noises.) Because Late Eclipses drops in just eleven days, I want to get everybody excited through the most basic means available to me:

Giving things away.

Specifically, I am giving away six books: two copies each of Rosemary and Rue (book one, for beginners!), An Artificial Night (get caught up!), and Late Eclipses (because new releases are awesome!). This giveaway is open only to North American addresses, unless you indicate in your entry that you're willing to pay postage. I'm really sorry about that, I just can't afford to both give books away and ship them overseas.

So here's how this will work:

1. Leave a comment on this entry. Leave it on the entry, please, not in response to another comment (replies to comments cannot win).
2. Indicate which book you want.
3. Indicate why you want it. Be as factual or as ridiculous as you like. Is it your birthday? Do you plan to encase it in amber and throw it in the ocean? Are termites involved? Have a party!
4. If you are outside North America, and willing to pay postage, include this in your comment.

...and that's all. The winners will be selected by our old friend, Random Number Generator, on Tuesday, February 22nd.

Game on!

ETA: Guys, remember, An Artificial Night is book THREE. I sadly do not have any copies of book two in this giveaway, and if you try to read book three or four without reading books one and two, you're going to be really, really confused.

I'd like Late Eclipses because I haven't read that one yet, but I do have the other three.
Oh Please, I would love to win a copy Late Ecplises! I have the rest of the wonderful adventure of Ms. October Daye. I will read the continuing tale with relish.

I want Late Eclipses instead of the others, because, gosharootie, I already own the first three, and I want to read the new one.

Thank you for your consideration, O random number generator.
Late Eclipses! Because it's the one I don't have yet (though it's preordered) and because I love this seris so so much.
I would like Late Eclipse because I'm too impatient to wait for my ordered copy of it to arrive from Amazon. The goal after that is to become one with it. :)
I would like Late Eclipses please because I have all the previous books and i want to find out what happens next! =)
I would love Late Eclipses. I'd love to run to the mail box, do an outlandish happy dance in which I attempt a moon walk (and fall on my butt) - and then showcase Late Eclipses within my apartment. Maybe have a little party for it's first birthday, get a little cake - the works.
So I'm pretty sure the woods I live in are full of fairies. Really, they are. And these fairies do not like me - they keep finding ways to scare the hell out of me whenever I'm alone in the house or (GOD FORBID) actually venture into the woods.

I feel that offering them a copy of Late Eclipses might appease them. At least for a little while, because they don't seem terribly impressed by the bread and milk and honey trick anymore.
I would like a copy of Late Eclipses to appease the fairies in our woods that really don't like allfireburns.

Seriously, they like to stalk her at night.
Because I want to get a friend hooked on the series and I'm not giving up my copy.
Are you kidding? Why I want Late Eclipses??? Let's see... because they're closing my closest Borders (the one I have to drive 2 hours to get to) and I'm so despondent over the loss I need your latest book to get me through. Or maybe because I'm waiting for my queries to come back with a positive response so someday I can be on the shelves with you- albeit a row or two down - and I need your book to make me feel better. Okay, so the real answer is: I just need Late Eclipses because I've been jones'n ever since I finished An Artificial Night and the DTs are about to kill me. ;o)
Rosemary and Rue. Please?

...because I've been reading your blog for over a year, but only just realized I've not actually read anything else by you. Embarrassing and horrifying, I know. But rest assured that whether or not I win, I *will* be reading your work-- because after your entry about the intricate and absurd(ly romantic) rules of fae courtship, how could I *not*?
Late Eclipses because I can hardly wait, and I'm poor right now.
I would love to have the first one so I can begin to read what everyone else is raving about. Though I read your LJ blog I am at the beginning of my relationship with your work. Upon winning and then reading, I will post a review on LJ and on my web page. Onward and upward!
I would hope to win a copy of Late Eclipses, because I have run out of new things to read to the monsters under my bed.
I'd be interested in a copy of Rosemary and Rue to start building up a second set of the series for lending purposes. Also as something to add to the stack of "things to try and get Seanan to sign the next time we see her." :)
I would love a copy of Rosemary and Rue. Because I have read feed and love it but want to read this other series, as my friend Wendy raves about all of your books... and because there is nothing new to read in my house anywhere. This sis sad when one loves to read as I do. There is no money to go buy even a half price book right now sigh either.
I want An Artificial Night, because I read Rosemary and Rue, didn't like it, and didn't go on with the series because I hadn't liked it. Since An Artificial Night came out, everyone's been telling me how much better the series has gotten and how great that book in particular is, and I want to give Toby and her people another try and find out if they are right.
While I appreciate your willingness to give me another chance, An Artificial Night is book three, and will make little sense without book two. You're still in the drawing—there was no "have read previously" requirement stated—but reading book three without book two is unlikely to improve your impression of the series overall. :(

I'd like Late Eclipses because I'd like to give my copy of an Artificial Night a break. I think it's been tortured (read) enough. In fact.. I think I just saw it move. Running away? I think not.

Keep up the great work! I love this series.
I would like a copy of Late Eclipses, please, because I haven't read that one yet. Also because my insect overlords demand it.
I would love to have Late Eclipses! The reason why you should so generously choose to send me this book is because on February 22nd it will be my unbirthday. :-)
I would like a copy of Late Eclipses because I just survived Valentine's Day season as an assistant chocolatiere. I think the universe maybe owes me by now, just saying.
I would like a copy of Late Eclipses because it will give me extra time to write up a review.
Late Eclipses, because I blew all my discretionary funds on a car and a sick cat and I really want to read it.

(Cat pictured in icon).
I would like An Artificial Night as I've already (and only) read Rosemary and Rue and it would be the perfect excuse to make me relax in the bath despite my crazy schedule right now.
An Artificial Night is actually book three; you sort of do need to read A Local Habitation first. (You're totally in the drawing, I just wanted to make sure you knew that.)
