I have a book coming out! Let's give stuff away!

It's time for my exciting Book Four GIVEAPALOOZA!!!! (Cue iCarly excited crowd noises.) Because Late Eclipses drops in just eleven days, I want to get everybody excited through the most basic means available to me:

Giving things away.

Specifically, I am giving away six books: two copies each of Rosemary and Rue (book one, for beginners!), An Artificial Night (get caught up!), and Late Eclipses (because new releases are awesome!). This giveaway is open only to North American addresses, unless you indicate in your entry that you're willing to pay postage. I'm really sorry about that, I just can't afford to both give books away and ship them overseas.

So here's how this will work:

1. Leave a comment on this entry. Leave it on the entry, please, not in response to another comment (replies to comments cannot win).
2. Indicate which book you want.
3. Indicate why you want it. Be as factual or as ridiculous as you like. Is it your birthday? Do you plan to encase it in amber and throw it in the ocean? Are termites involved? Have a party!
4. If you are outside North America, and willing to pay postage, include this in your comment.

...and that's all. The winners will be selected by our old friend, Random Number Generator, on Tuesday, February 22nd.

Game on!

ETA: Guys, remember, An Artificial Night is book THREE. I sadly do not have any copies of book two in this giveaway, and if you try to read book three or four without reading books one and two, you're going to be really, really confused.

1. This is my comment. :-)

2. I would love Late Eclipses.

3. Beyond wanting to devour, er, read it, it would be my reward for rearranging the furniture in my front room which also involves moving bookcases and reshelving books. Lots of books.
I would like Rosemary and Rue for my sister, who in the past year has graduated from law school, helped her husband recover from major arm surgery, juggled the needs of three daughters from ages 10 downward all having to share one bedroom, supported her younger brother through one of life's little crises and her older sister (me) through a different one entirely, run an intensive (recently successful!) job hunt, and still managed to find the time to share with me one book series she'd found.

Heather has finally gotten life calmed down enough to believe she'll have time to read again in the near future. I really want to hook her on Toby before she has a chance to get hooked on something else!
I'd love to get a copy of Late Eclipses from you.

I've been trying to keep my favorite local bookstore solvent by buying your books through them (both for myself and extras to give as gifts). But that store will be closing very soon as part of a chapter 11 bankruptcy. :(
Ooooo, I want Late Eclipses because when the velociraptors come and I have to retreat to my adamantium tree-house, I will need something good to read!
Leaving my comment, requesting Late Eclipses since I have all the rest of them and enjoyed them so much I CAN'T WAIT ANY LONGER.
I need Rosemary and Rue. Not want. Need. Because it's probable that if I do not read this book, my friends who have read it (and raved over it) will shortly murder me for my ignorance.
My life depends on you, Random Number Generator. Please.
I want a copy of Rosemary and Rue because I keep meaning to get started reading your books and I haven't, but a copy looking at me forlornly on my nightstand would assist me in not getting distracted by other things. Because I am easily distracted by books.

Have I mentioned I have a book fetish? And, for the first and only time in my life, extra bookshelf space, which cannot be allowed to stand.

I'm inside North America.
I would love a copy of Late Eclipses, to read while I nurse my baby.
I'd like a copy of Late Eclipses (book four)

Why do I want it? PRETTY COVER! I think it's my fave cover of the series so far.

I'm in North America, so no worries about postage.

Thanks for holding this giveaway!
I would like a copy of Late Eclipses. It will be an excellent celebration of my ascension to the throne of the Land Where Butterflies Travel In Winter.

(Also, I really REALLY want to find out what happens next)

I want Late Eclipses, because Toby's dress on the cover looks fantastic and I WANT IT. *makes grabby hands*
I'd like a copy of Rosemary and Rue. I'm travelling for a year (and am totally happy to pay postage!) but I've made myself the promise I cannot buy paper books for a year. Obviously, winning them is different.
I want Late Eclipses because I want to read it ASAP.

Will pay for shipping.
March 1st is my 27th birthday and I would absolutely love a copy of Late Eclipses to celebrate! :)
I so much want Late Eclipses! I've got the other two books and am planning on buying book 3, but giveaways are awesome and I love getting winning them (only twice so far but I'm always hopeful!) AND my birthday IS coming up! Plus my 13 year son is reading book 1 right now and giving every indication of enjoying it, so I imagine he'll be reading book 2 next week. Book 3 would be lovely!
I'd love Late Eclipses because I've been a good girl and not throttled anyone despite the stupid hours at a work event that started with group breakfasts at 7 AM and finished with group drinks at midnight-ish - all while jetlagged.

And I have a US address....

I'd love Late Eclipses because my icon says so.
Also I utterly dislike not having all bits of a series and I will get the book somewhat later here (I'm just, only just outside North America, in Switzerland and yes, I'd pay postage). Which makes me desperate. *wails*
Luckily I have no termites, but I can sure find some if need be. I think the Zoo nearby has some.
Also my birthday isn't soon, but it would be yesterday in 8 months if that counts for something.
I haven't got a cat that would chew the book to pieces, but I've an imaginary manul that peers around like a Swedish "troll" and tends to sit on my shoulder while I'm reading, reading along. It agrees with your books. That has to count for something.
I would like Rosemary and Rue, because I haven't read any of them, but also because that's my favorite title of the three. :D

(btw I read Feed and it was the best book about zombies and blogging ever.)
Hi Seanan! It's me. I would really really like to have Late Eclipses, because it in fact, is very nearly my birthday! (just three weeks from today!)

So I hope that Random Number Generator is as indulgent to birthdays as Maximus is in Tangled for Rapunzel, and hopefully I shall win! Bwaha!
Late Eclipses because I have the rest.
I'd love to get a copy of Late Eclipses because I'm an East Coast girl who doesn't travel much, so until you come to Pittsburgh... it's probably the only way I'll ever have one of my copies of your books actually be in your hands!
I'd like Late Eclipses. And, in fact, 2/22 is my birthday! (Although I will not be turning 22, sadly.)
I'm in England but can I participate if I provide a US address? I won't win, I have no luck with these things!

Rosemary and Rye attempt!

I would love a copy of one of your lovely books because if I cannot find a job after this summer I may have to resort to building a place to live in. My plan is to use textbooks for foundation and novels for the walls. I need as many books as possible to aid in this plan and it would be awesome to have something I want to read on a quiet night in my bookhouse.
