Looks like those eclipses are right on time.

Yes, it's time for the moment you've all been waiting for: the moment where I give away the first ARC of Late Eclipses, fourth book in the October Daye series. Because I am an enormous dork, I literally waited to open this giveaway until I had my book-specific icon in place. STOP JUDGING ME. I am a dork, I embrace my dorkitude. Anyway...

Who wants to win an ARC? About what I figured. I'll have some more effort-intensive contests in a little bit, but first up, it's our old favorite, the random drawing. To enter, please do the following:

1) Leave a comment on this entry. Leave it as a comment on the entry, please, not on someone else's comment. Comments left on other comments cannot win.

2) That's all.

Please don't comment going "pick me, pick me," if you could be so kind. I don't pick anyone. The random number generator picks the winner, and it is a cruel mistress which has never yet picked a comment containing "pick me." Instead, why not tell me why you're excited about this book? I'd really love to know.

I will choose a winner at 2PM PST on Tuesday, December 21st.

Game on!

Absolutely love this series! Toby is one of my favorite heroines. I love her tenacity and courage. I can't wait to see how she handles what you throw at her next. And Tybalt. Yeah, you've definitely got me on that hook. :)
Hello!
I just finished re-reading Rosemary & Rue and A Local Habitation. Then I immediately read An Artificial Night. LOVE LOVE LOVE! I would thoroughly enjoy getting an ARC of Late Eclipses, and probably read it in about 4 1/2 seconds!

Thank you,
Bookwyrme
I'd love to win. Thanks for making the random drawing an option.
I am so excited for this book I just read all three of the books for the first time in November. I can't wait to see more of Tybalt, and hopefully some Toby and Tybalt lovin.
I would love to have this one, even though I still have to get the third one yet!
I need to see what happens next of course! :)

I have to try!

Merry Christmas all!
Game On
DON'T PICK ME!

I cleverly manipulate the Fates. Or not, we'll see.
Belated commentary :-)
Oh yes, please!
I'd like an ARC because I love this series. You're rapidly becoming one of my favorite authors.
Toooooooooooooooooby come to me. ;)

I can't wait to read this book! More Tybalt, please!
Um. I need my Toby fix. My Toby fix needs to be sated, and preferably before March the First. It was inevitable that I would get hooked on these—one, because it has cats; and two, because you signed ALH and AAN at NYCC for me. Not RAR, because they ran out. I'll get that next time. Because these stories are so thrilling and compelling, and I look forward to the next one each time. Yes, I peek over the cliffs. I love and hate cliffhangers. AND I've given many many copies of RAR as holiday gifts. Oh, and reason number three: Because Priscilla basically threw them at me and said, "You have to read these. Now. Like, five minutes ago NOW." Which I will get her back for. Eventually.
I can't wait to read it and you know I'll tell everyone how awesome it is. With lots of exclamation points!!! <333

I am excited about this book because you have never written anything I don't love even if it did stomp all over my heart :)
I would like to win an ARC because I am excited, of course, and I cannot wait to see more of the May vs. October dynamic. As well, of course, as the Toby and Tybalt dynamic. That is hot hot hot like on fire, and I totally ship it. Toby's mother is a fascinating bag of crazy, and I am very excited at the thought of learning where that's going.

Now I've got The Love Shack in my head. No prize for guessing what sort of filk is going on there. (scary old fae who wants to eat your face off...)
I would kill to get this book!
Here in Germany it takes forever until you get the books.
Now I'm left with fingers crossed.
I'm going through withdrawals. I haven't had any good book crack since Feed. My work is _not_ suffering due to my staying up till 2 in the morning reading.
Can't wait to read the next book. There would be much squeeing here if I actually won, followed by borrowing by a certain niece of mine who I got hooked :-)
This comment is on the behalf of mathnerd, who is not near a computer right now, but who would be vexed indeed if she learned that there was a drawing for an ARC of a Toby book, and she had not managed to enter. (If this happens to be the one that comes up, usual procedure, through khasael, applies.)
Just verifying that I would indeed be willing to play postal middleman, should she be picked, so as to not burden you with international postage (and not disqualify her from entering, based upon that limitation). She is not able to be near a computer right now, nor will she be particularly soon. (Thanks, Azz, for noticing and commenting on her behalf.)

As a programmer, I had some real fun with random number generators. If they aren't seeded properly, they aren't random :)
