Looks like those eclipses are right on time.

Yes, it's time for the moment you've all been waiting for: the moment where I give away the first ARC of Late Eclipses, fourth book in the October Daye series. Because I am an enormous dork, I literally waited to open this giveaway until I had my book-specific icon in place. STOP JUDGING ME. I am a dork, I embrace my dorkitude. Anyway...

I want this book because I want to know how much more trouble Toby could possibly find herself in. And I kind of want to know how May gets her money. Hopefully LE has the answers. :)

This is my prayer to the RNG to give me this book, because I NEED to read what Toby's going to get up to next. I haven't been this obsessed with a series since Anne McCaffrey and the Pern series. NEED. So please, RNG, pull up my number so I can get my tiny little hands on this book before all of my friends?

I am excited about the next book because the preview chapter in the last book had her going to ball (I love balls!) as LADY GOLDENGREEN. I cannot wait to hear how THAT happened. Plus, more Tybalt.

Why I'm excited? BECAUSE IT'S A GORRAM NEW TOBY DAYE BOOK, of course!

Can't be more specific about this volume in particular until I've read it, now, can I? Although I always look forward to seeing how Toby's latest set of wheels gets it, and Tybalt's snark, and Toby's vague faith that The Luidaeg will stay her hand once again from killing her in creative ways, and kickass filkable moments. You know...the constants.

I'm excited about this book because the sample chapter at the end of An Artificial Night left me with a dozen questions and a half dozen conspiracy theories. I want to know if I'm right!

I'm excited about the book! Largely because I finally have time to read and you worldcraft very nicely and I *need* more good books to read that don't cost an arm and a leg. Paperbacks are cheap and re-readable!

I'm excited because Toby has gotten more complex and interesting with each book. I'm excited because I really, really like May, and hope she's in this book as well. And any book with Tybalt is welcome on my shelves--if he's in there [hoping, hoping, hoping].

Oh, I am very interested in Late Eclipses, because I want to see which of the long list of hovering dooms comes to call on Toby! There's the selkies she annoyed in book 2, the return of the dead from book 2, politics- which are always bloody and tasty, Tybalt, her children...

But given the excerpt with memories of Toby's mother, I'm rooting for Politics, this time.

I really want to find out what happened to Luna and Rayseline when Toby got fish-ified, and why they were kidnapped in the first place. Not to mention Faerie politics. Yay!

Oh! I want to see how Tobys fetch gets on, given that Toby seems no closer than usual to actually dying. I'm curious about how this whole fetch thing works, given that she's apparently very early, and what it might mean to have a fetch who just shows up and ends up hanging around.
But most of all, I just want to spend some more time in Tobys world.
