Final pre-order status.

The pre-order period for my third studio album, Wicked Girls, will officially be closing at the end of this week, as we are basically ready to go to the printer—I just need to get the final liner note files and contact my project manager at Oasis, and we're in business. For details on the album, please check out my albums page, where you can find the track list, lyrics, some details on our featured performers, and the truly kick-ass cover art.

To place your order, go to:

https://seananmcguire.com/secure_order.php

Pre-orders follow this price scale:

* $18.00 USD: First domestic pre-order.
* $16.00 USD: Second domestic pre-order.

* $20.00 USD: International pre-order.
* $16.00 USD: Second international pre-order.

This is because of the way the mailing costs work. A third CD would cost the same as a first; this assumes that the CDs are being shipped together. So two CDs to the same US address would be $34.00, but two CDs to two different US addresses would be $18.00 each. Hope that's not too confusing.

(Basically, all pre-orders are a base cost of $15.00, plus shipping. Please be aware that if you order two CDs at the same time, they will be sent to the same address.)

Since we also need to pay mixing costs, we're taking album sponsors; you can submit sponsorships through the order form. 285 pre-orders have been sold out of a possible 300, meaning that 15 pre-orders remain. All pre-ordered CDs will be signed and numbered. Because it is so late in the year, only pre-ordered CDs will have a chance of arriving before the holidays. I can't make any promises, but I'm going to try to do the majority of the mailing in time for Christmas. I will not be getting stock to filk dealers or CD Baby until after the first of the year.

Glee!
I'm really excited. I still need to chase down the last few people whose payments haven't been received, but I should be able to get the majority in the mail in time for Christmas.

Well, Merry Christmas to me! And I hope yours is merry as well.
Now, back to work! Keep me entertained!
Workin' on it!
It's 68 degrees in the office, I am behind in so many things, the printers are acting up, and it's Monday.

And it's a wonderful, cheery day, because I might have new music in time for Christmas.

You made my day. :)
I surely do hope you will! Fingers are crossed.

I was feeling a bit down yesterday, thinking about the coming holiday season. Knowing that I will have my CD (and the additional copy that I intend to gift to some deserving person) has brightened my spirits considerably. Thank you!
Very welcome. Here's hoping!
Glee! I'm really looking forward to the new cd. :D
Me, too.
OO, thank You for the reminder, I need to order another one. Mwahahahahahahaha.
Yay!

One hopes!
So! Excited!

OTish: Now that the CDs of Stars Fall Home and Red Roses and Dead Things are sold out, had you thought about making the albums available for (paid) download?
Nope.

There are a lot of reasons for that, but it boils down to "I don't have the digital distribution rights for the cover songs," and "if I do that, I can never reprint, ever, because there will be no market." With a side-order of "don't wanna."

I am seriously considering pre-ordering it. For once I have money on me *right now* that won't have to be spent before I get my next check.

Hmm. I just talked myself into it, because how often does that happen to me?
Okay, I ordered. I do have a small question: if it will get out for Christmas, dare I hope it might arrive a week before then? If not, can I put an alternate address in the envelope with the check? I put my school address, but the semester might end before it arrives and then I would have to wait until January to get the CD.

Huzzah! We'll enjoy our copy equally well whether it gets here in time for Christmas or not. Kay_gmd and I are still getting over our excitement from having recently picked up a copy of Red Roses and Dead Things - now we'll get an extra dose of music goodness!

BTW, "The Black Death" rocks.
Thank you!
pre-ordered CDs will have a chance of arriving before the holidays.

Ooh. Exciting. Equally exciting if it's around then, as well, because it's just been vaguely on my 'good things happening sometime in the future list' but this is soon! Yay! :D
Cheese and cake, indeed.
Ooo! I can't wait! *bounces* I pre-ordered AGES ago. So excited!!!
It does take time.
Congratulations! I'm looking forward to it.

And for post-Christmas shipping, don't forget that US Postal rates are going up January 2nd. (Which perhaps you already knew, but it was too sad to imagine you hauling a huge load of CDs to the post office after the holidays and only discovering then they need more stamps.)
Yeah, I'm planning to spend most of the week between Christmas and New Year's toting sacks of CDs to the post office. Fun for me, not so much for the people behind me in the line...
