Six word biography.
It's simple: leave a comment on this entry with a six word biography of yourself. They can be serious, silly, or anything in-between. Here are some examples for me:
"I've always been a cornfield girl."
"Halloweentown princess seeks candy corn, companionship."
"I did it all for dreaming."
Indicate which of the three books you're interested in. On Saturday, I'll use the random number generator to select three winners, one for each book. You can only win once, but you can ask for all three books, if that's what rings your chimes.
Game on!

I'd be interested in a signed copy of An Artifical Night please- my favourite of the three.

Third...not that I don't have a copy yet but it would let me corrupt another person ;-)

I'd like Rosemary and Rue, if I won, please.

Rosemary and Rue
A Local Liabitation
An Artifical Night
But honestly, whatever you send would be spectacular.

I would very much like a signed copy of Rosemary and Rue, but, if my number came up on it, I would also take A Local Habitation.

Manages to arrive by traveling blindfolded.
Has excellent times while completely lost.
Loves kittens, chickens, and stompy robots.
Would probably snark through own funeral.
Would take any with Seanan’s signature.

I'd like "A Local Habitation" if I win, please. :)
September 29 2010, 00:09:32 UTC 6 years ago
"Short girl with a big heart."
"Girl makes fool of herself, laughs."
"Child of music, words, and movement."
Any of the three, please. Preference is #3, but I can easily pass on the other two to the local library or someone I know who'd love the series.

Any book :)

She still keeps the sea shells
that she used to live in
though she can't fit in them
no more. They think she's hoarding
and she can't explain that she's
only her own girl next door.
She loves comfort food, and her
comfortable bed, with the comforter
so thick and white. Comfortable books
soothe the voice in her head
Until she turns out the light
But she's not a comfortable girl
Though she moves at comfortable speed
Hugging the comfortable, rolling curved hips
That take her wherever she needs
She never thought she was immortal
She never thought kisses could heal
She never thought what she needed
Made a difference to what's real
she knows that wishes are horses
that we ride to a land
ours alone. But she'd rather remain
where the faces aren't all hers
peaking out through masks of bone
Even if it takes all of her comforts
to make it feel almost like home.
She knows it's time to move on.
But it's so hard to find
an apartment with room for the
sea shells that's she's left behind.
