That's a great cover, and definitely shows Toby off a lot more. I like how she has a very angular face, like you describe in the book, rather than a classic pretty-girl. Hurray for truth in covers!

So, erm yeah. Marvellous cover. I love it! Yay for the synopsis. I am not sure if it has been revealed before now, but it's the first time I've read it and I can't wait to get my greedy hands on what is no doubt a delicious tale.

Oh, my.

Seconding what everyone else has said. *Love* how understated it is, in some ways - tip of a pointed ear barely showing through her hair, clothing that isn't all Cleavage Oh My Ghods, and she doesn't look like a teenager. (I get so tired of Standard Female Protagonist Fantasy Cover Art^TM.)

The artist has Toby *down* totally, with the fae dress and Tybalt's leather jacket. I'm so glad they kept the artist for the run of the series, and hope all of the Toby books get the same dark, moody treatment. Like others, while I like the art, the promo blurb gives me joy.

DAW has bought five.
I have detailed outlines through nine.
There are at least three more after that; there may be as many as ten.
