Bring on the army of spiders!

1. I am in Australia.

1a. I am in Melbourne, Australia.

2. I have found a lovely Indian place that fed me goat, and a place with hot cocoa so good it made Jeanne shaky.

3. We are about to go to the aquarium to see squids.

3a. And penguins.

4. I miss you all, but I am in Australia, so it isn't really bothering me very much.

Enjoy Australia, and watch out for the Drop Bears, they're really MUCH more dangerous than the spiders and snakes 8-)

Were they "fairy penguins"? My husband saw them when he was in Oz decades ago, and they were curious but skittish creatures, fun to watch in their horde.

The ones at the aquarium were Emperor penguins and another kind I can't remember the name of. We saw the fairy penguins later.

Yeah for the feeding you goat! I always get excited when they feed me mutton (not lamb, but actual adult sheep) or deer meat. If the deer meat is covered in sauce to disguise it's taste, it does not count.

Please don't get poisoned or set on fire. :)

You are in Australia! Have lots of fun, seeing penguins. Fairy Penguins are cute.
Do try Kangaroo. If you like goat, you will probably like roo. The ones they use for meat are like cattle, all over the place and not endangered or anything.
Since I did AussieCon 3, I am only mildly jealous sorry.

Freshly back from Burning Man, I open my email to see the press release from A4...and all but dislocated my shoulders throwing my arms in the air.

You earned this, Seanan. You deserve it. And I cannot WAIT to see the pictures.
