Too tired to brain. Have an open thread.

I am too tired to brain today. Here; have an open thread. Ask anything, bring up anything, whatever makes you happy (although I ask that you avoid detailed book spoilers—I have forums for that).

I will brain later, but right now, I have the dumb.

Since it's an open thread and because sometimes it bugs me, I just have to say:

The second time I met you, I was briefly distracted by your green camisole. My brain process went something like "Is that a green bra? Where did she find one in that awesome shade? Wait, probably not her bra, since it's exposed somewhat-OH GOD IT LOOKS LIKE I'M STARING AT HER BOOBS!"

And while I doubt you even noticed, I'm still a little embarrassed about it. I have better manners than to ogle someone; I'm just distracted by bright colors and shiny things.

There! I am now un-embarrassed and have probably baffled you. My work here is done.
Hee.

I adore you, you goof.
Why not burn another set of Stars Fall Home CDs if there's additional demand for 'em? (Sincerity mode; I suspect economy-of-scale but don't know how it specifically applies here.)
Economy of scale.

I refuse to hand-burn CDs; the amount of work involved just isn't feasible for me. It's not cost-effective to do print runs of less than 1,000. It's taken me four years to sell 1,000 CDs, which, for filk, is really, really good.

If there's enough of a demand for "the out-of-print album ZOMG" in five or six years, I may take orders to pay for another 1,000 disk print run, but right now, it simply isn't feasible.
Makes sense. There are alternatives like magnatune.com but I don't know the details there either, so.
Oh, look, I have come back to this thread. Do you know the song "Generator" by Freelance Whales? Because I heard it on a TV show the other night and decided it should be added to my post-zombie-apocalypse soundtrack. And it's catchy. So you should give it a listen if you don't know it.

Ooooooo, neat.
