"Design signature cocktails or desserts for major characters/places in the Tobyverse."
What does the Luidaeg drink on a Friday night? What's Toby's favorite way to get wasted? How many virgin cocktails can Quentin down before he reaches legal age? Whip up something intoxicating and put it in the comments for the world to see.
The random drawing will be held Monday, July 12th. Voting on the cocktail/dessert competition* will begin the same day, and continue through July 15th. As no actual drinking is involved, you don't have to be twenty-one to enter, and there are lots of websites happy to help you out.
(*If we receive fewer than five entries, I won't do open judging, and the prize will be awarded based on how much I want to drink your cocktail or eat your pie.)
Game on!

October's a good month for apples... ;)
(And yes, I did look up use of rue in cookery, but the obvious things do not fall under "dessert" at all. ;)

Same thing she drinks every night. Talisker single malt. Neat. She likes the scent of iodine that comes through. It reminds her of the sea.
What's Toby's favorite way to get wasted?
Absinthe, as long as someone else is buying. Jade PF 1901 prepared the traditional way with ice water dripped over a sugar cube. It puts her in touch with her inner Green Fairy.

For Tybalt -
a Catnip mojito - I remember his truffle was mint and lemon
1.5 oz rum - normally light, but I think it would be dark in this case.
12 springs of fresh catnip leaves
2 tbsp simple syrup
juice of 1/2 a lime
2 oz soda water
For Toby -
Coffee Buzz
In a tall glass -
8 oz coffee, 1 oz kahlua and 1 oz godiva liquer

Making these up
July 7 2010, 16:25:39 UTC 7 years ago Edited: July 7 2010, 16:33:14 UTC
Ginger ale and pomegranate juice, with a hefty dose of gin and a splash of bitters, on the rocks. (Especially if the bitters contain wormwood.)
Garnished with a flower of belladonna.
Tybalt's Seduction (For Toby)
A glass of champagne with 1-2 shots of St. Germaine. (Elderflower liquor. True, dangerous faerie wine stuff. Tastes like berries and flowers and magic.) Serve to Toby--preferably the Morning After, or at a classy dinner the Night Before.

Luna drinks sake, steeped with plum and jasmine. When she has company, she will often put a blossom of each flower in each cup.

If you just want a description: a waffle bowl with what looks like a sundae in it (whipped cream, sprinkled nuts, chocolate syrup, cherry on top if that's how you swing or you could use it as a non-alcoholic designator). However, this sundae isn't made with ice cream: it's a homemade no-bake cheesecake with an added bit of liquor.
Recipe ;) Pulled from memory, so it won't be exact. Recipes are like the Pirate Code, more like guidelines.
3 softened 8 oz packages of cream cheese
1 8 oz tub of cool whip
1/3 cup sugar
1 tbsp vanilla
Alcohol I've used that works fairly well is Triple Sec and/or Creme De Cacao. It's a reasonably forgiving mixture so you can use the liquor in place of the vanilla or in addition to it. I'm not sure how mint Bailey's would work, but it sounds interesting with dark chocolate topping. You get the idea :)
And for some reason I would find it really funny if the intoxicating part for the smaller fey was the high sugar content, not the alcohol. But that's me.

Green tea infused into sake
a splash of fresh water
garnished with tiny lily pads,
and floating bits of crispy seaweed
Not that I think Lily can get drunk, per se, but something outside a tea ceremony now and then is probably welcome. Plus, she needs something to serve at parties.

(Easily orderable in real life, but if you've given up caffeine, like I have (heresey, I know), prepare for some funny looks from the bartender if you order it with decaf coffee.)
