Yeah, I'm out of here.

Now is the time on Sprockets where I take my suitcase, my passport, my train tickets, and my mother, and head to the San Francisco International Airport. From there, we will fly to Los Angeles, and I will spend the weekend as ConChord's Guest of Honor/Westercon's Music Guest of Honor. Yay!

Since I'm about to leave you to your own devices for the entire weekend, I thought I should bribe you to play nicely with, well, the world. Here's Lilly, being...dignified:

Our old white cat used to stick her tongue out when her brain got full (which was often; she wasn't a terribly bright creature).

In news unrelated to your cat being awesome, I went out and supported my local independent and bought FEED! (Also had a very nice conversation with one of the employees about who to recommend FEED to!)

She's cute - and I am sure she will tear me to shreds if she could get her claws on me because I call her "cute". But she really is. She looks fluffy on that pic, most Siamese I know have very, very (very) short hair.
