Leave a comment, win an ARC.

It's time for everyone's favorite ARC giveaway, the random drawing. To participate...

1) Leave a comment. As a reply to the entry, please, not as a reply to someone else's comment.
2) That's all.

I will select the winner of a signed ARC of An Artificial Night, the third October Daye adventure, at noon Pacific time on Friday, June 18th. The winner will have until Sunday evening to provide me with a mailing address; otherwise, I'll pick another winner. The winner will be chosen via random number generation.

So comment, and tell me why you're excited about book three! Maybe you could win an early look!

Oh Tybalt! And Toby. And everybody else. ^^
Plus, my sis & a friend are waiting for the next Toby adventure too. {We want it now.} ♥
I am OMGSQUEESOEXCITED for this book, because you and Toby are teh awesome. :D
I'm so excited for book 3! I absolutely adore Toby because she's tough & cynical but still cares about her friends & family. Also I finished ALH Ina day & a half but it totally kept my mind ending up in the hospital by being such an awesome read so that was a big plus. :)
O yay! Possibilities...
1) The Luidaeg == The Dread Pirate Roberts
"Very Good, Toby. I'll likely kill you in the morning."

2) It's book three and I've enjoyed following Toby as she evolves from an (understandably) angsty changeling, to someone who stirs the chili and gets things done.

3) Tybalt: What will happen now that Janice is gone?

4) Political intrigue: Someone wants a fairy war... Who and why?

I am looking forward to book 3 as I really enjoy where the story is going. We have seen into Toby's past in book 1 and in book 2 we have met the people from the Summerlands who have influenced her to make the choices she has made as well as going on the wild ride of a murder mystery. And personally I love how you have made me want to explore my "backyard" of the Bay Area just to try to see it from Toby's perspective. Thanks & can't wait for number 3.
I am excited because the teaser bit of it at the end of "A Local Habitation" made me dance around my house going "WHYYY ISN'T THIS OUT YET? WHYYYY CAN'T I READ IT!??? LIFE!! LIFE YOU ARE NOT BEING FAIR TO MEEEEE!!!!!" It revealed juuuust enoooough to really pique my interest.

Of course, the fact that I've sort of plowed my way through your entire publicly available catalog since late May sort of helps. :)

May I say that you are the ballsiest writer of the year so far for some of the things you do in FEED? No spoilers, just DAMN.
I'm excited because I have visions of rose goblins dancing in my head! They really are dancing, too. Little happy cacti cats.
I'm excited because for every loose end Toby ties up, four more show up. Go Toby go!
I'm excited because I love Toby, Tybalt, and the Luidaeg and I can't wait to see what happens next!
I loved the first two a huge amount and oh god I want more Toby and Quentin and Tybalt and everyone!

Me me me!

I've loved all of the things I've read by you so far. What I'm looking forward to in this one is 1) Tybalt and 2) the Luidaeg.

I think your writing improved a lot between books 1 and 2, and I want to see what changed for book 3! :)

C'est ne pas une comment.

In other news, book 2 arrived on my doormat last week and I'm excited to read THAT, so book 3 is an added bonus ;)

I'm excited because I love how you make me love the Bay Area in a way that I never thought I could. I love that you *nail* the no-man's land of Fremont and you make P-Hill Magical. Magical! What can you do with the Suburbia of the Dub-C? Cherry Lane is pretty magical...

In other words I can't wait to see what you do with the rest of Non-SF Bay Area.

Yippie, a contest I (who can't draw/bead/crochet/paint etc.) qualify for!
I'm excited about the next book because I'm still not sure Gillian won't show up some day, and I really think that would make Toby feel better. Eventually.
It's early, free and autographed--couldn't ask for more than that. Well, yes there is something more: If I send my well worn copies of the first two books along with a return envelope [postage affixed of course ;)]will you autograph them also??? No matter what I promise not to cancel the early order with Amazon.com.
Ooo Comment contest!

Feed just blew me away.

It amazes me that you have two more lined up.
I'm excited about book three because the first two were wicked awesome and I did nothing but read them straight through when I got them. :D
I am excited to learn more about Toby's mother; and maybe more about the internal politics of the Fae kingdom (and why the queen was so wiggy in _Rosemary and Rue_...
