I'm excited because it's another book by you! And you write in a snarky and compelling manner that makes me squee (and lose sleep). Besides, my daughter needs something else to read, since she keeps rereading the first two books (though she is currently working on Feed--she can handle dark, and I read it [and bawled] first). After the retail version hits, we'll of course buy retail copies for both of us for the "perpetual rereading" collection, but an ARC would be VERY squee-worthy ;-)

I want to say something witty, because it's fun and well written, how the character has a great voice and is an awesome contribution to the urban fantasy genre.

But if I'm honest, it's because of Tybalt.
I need more Tybalt. (Who reminds me a lot of the Goblin King.)
Need. In an obsessive kinda way.

I'll admit - while I'd like to have an ARC of An Artificial Night I have this feeling I'd really like to see The Brightest Fell prior to it's release date even more.

You're an excellent writer- strongest I've seen coming straight out of the gate. The first two were really fun. I've also read and loved "Feed" and am enjoying watching my daughter (a mass communications major) read your Mira Grant book "Feed." Waiting with bated breath whether I win or not!

I am completely 100% in LOVE with Tybalt and absolutely adore the interactions between him and Toby. I can't wait for more!

I am excited because it's an excellent series, because the cast is awesome, and because I hope and pray there's more Quentin. And Tybult. And Sylvester and Luna. But mostly Quentin.

I'm exited because Toby is one of the best new characters around and it's hard to get enough of her in only 2 books.

YAY! I would love an ARC of the third Toby Daye book! I need to be there when Tybalt finally makes her his new 'nip toy, and the Luidaeg finally claims her prize, and Gilly comes looking for her mother, and and and

Also, I'm reading this other author, she writes about politics and zombies... she's pretty good too.

I'm excited for book three because it is written by this kickass take no prisoners author whose books I am cheerfully pushing at anyone who holds still.

(Seriously? I handsold a copy of Feed to a cashier at the bookstore when I was in there last. She was remarking on not being sure what else to recc to a customer who reads SF&F and I mentioned the Toby books and she was all 'Oh, yes, I've suggested those!' and I mentioned Feed and we talked about it a bit and she went and pulled a copy and set it back to buy on her break.)

I'm excited about the Third Toby book because will be awesome. And even thought this is totally random. Having an ARC early will make it easy to sit and be off my feet some more. That would be contributing to me sanity. Which may seem impossible. But would be doing so.

For the safety of all readers, please place tongue firmly in cheek while reading.

In complete fairness, while I would enjoy owning an ARC, if only to lord it over my friends satisfy my magpie-like urges touch something you once held in your own hands, Precious become better acquainted with this series, which I've been looking forward to reading practically since I first read mention of it, it isn't strictly why I'm posting here. I wanted to let you know that I have thoroughly enjoyed your work for years, going back to the Commandments of Coyote, and look forward daily to viewing the world through your eyes, via your online journal(s).

I am excited because I love the series, and I hate waiting.

I love Tybalt. I love his interaction with Toby. I can't wait to watch the world develop.

The first set of books in a series really establish the world... and it's fun to watch it start. It's fun to be there for the beginning of a series and get each book as it comes out and watch the world unfold. If you start a series once it's on book 6 or 8, with the world already established, you don't get that process. People will talk, and hint without meaning too... it's hard to be totally unspoiled.
