Leave a comment, win an ARC.

It's time for everyone's favorite ARC giveaway, the random drawing. To participate...

1) Leave a comment. As a reply to the entry, please, not as a reply to someone else's comment.
2) That's all.

I will select the winner of a signed ARC of An Artificial Night, the third October Daye adventure, at noon Pacific time on Friday, June 18th. The winner will have until Sunday evening to provide me with a mailing address; otherwise, I'll pick another winner. The winner will be chosen via random number generation.

So comment, and tell me why you're excited about book three! Maybe you could win an early look!

I'm looking forward to it because Toby is said to have even bigger Crowning Moments of Awesome, and the ones she's had already aren't peanuts either.
Oooh! Me! Me!

And excited because any book with a compelling world and well rounded characters is worth getting excited about!
Why am I excited? Because it's a BOOK! :D

Seriously, I love Toby, and her love-hate relationship with her heritage (to say nothing of just about everything else around her). And the sample chapter at the end of ALH had me making incoherent noises.
I'm excited because I'm a big fan of your work, and your books never stop being fun to read. They have their own corner on my bookshelf.
I'm excited about the whole thing. I like Toby - genuinely like her. I like that she's not angsting away (a la Drizzt); I like that she's tough and creative; I like that she's not falling into bed with every good-looking creature that comes her way (*coughcough*MerryGentry*coughcough*) but she's not a nun pining away. I love your writing style - the snark and laughter and the dark and the light and the fact that these people talk like people talk. Too many books have people "talking" in ways that you only ever hear from drunken dungeon masters.

Also, I have a fangirl crush on Tybalt. Like the rest of the world. ;)

Also-also, you have adorable cats and you signed a book for me and didn't call me crazy when I sent you pumpkin perfume and flailed about BPAL all over your blog. You're really quite tolerant.
OOh! yes! Selkies!

And I have a personal interest, because I'm supposed to be descended from a Selkie on my mother's side, according to MacDuffy clan origin mythology.
I am interested in learning more about Toby's world and how different it is from our own.

Plus, when it is September, then I know there is only ten more months until the next Mira Grant book!
Okay. I'm excited about book three in part because I really, really, really like Toby (and a few of the other Suspects) and am looking forward to diving back into that world.

But also because I keep hearing how excited YOU are about book three (and occasional bits about WHY) and I figure, okay, if the AUTHOR is all a-squee about this, there's gotta be something cool in store. :-D

- TTFN,
- Amazon. :-D
The chance to go back to Toby's world, That's all the reason I need.

You want specifics? Dying to find out more about the Ludhaig, Why is the Queen going off her rocker? Will Toby ever figure out what her own heart wants in relation to that hot, (But married,) hunk of fella?
::Boing, boing, boing:: Artificial Night! New Toby Book! Woot!
I'm in :)
oh, pick me please! I can't wait to read the book
the newest book in a series is always exciting...

*cheeble cheeble*
Oh my gosh, I am so excited. I love the Toby books. So many people have tried to do the fae-in-the-modern-world thing and this series is the only one I've read that I felt got it right. And Toby is the perfect tour guide because she's jaded enough, or stubborn enough, to see the Glamour for what it really is and she unapologetically roots out what's hidden behind it and exposes it to the light of day.
I am excited for the new book.
Looking forward to more Toby!
I'm excited because you're awesome. You make me laugh, you make me cry, you make me shiver, you make me think.

I will have no normal computer access from shortly before your scheduled announcement until sometime Monday, so in the unlikely event that I win, please ask someone at DucKon to let me know and pass my info back to you if you don't already have it (or if the rules require that I tell you again).
Yikes! I haven't even read the second book yet! *whimper*

Gots to figure out how to squeeze monies out of the budget to get all three books. *whimper*
I am excited for book 3 because I need more Tybalt in my life. (Though don't we all?)
I'm super excited because, well, let's face it. The Toby Daye series is fantastic.
Yay! I'm excited about book three because book two was even better than book one, so book three is bound to be stupendous!
I am excited because it's an awesome series! With Faeries!!
I would like to win an ARC of An Artificial Night, but I'm going to buy at least one copy whether I win or not.

I'm excited to read it because I can't wait to see some progression in the ever-churning back-burner plots you have going on.
They're not vampires. They're fish from space.
Oh, did you mean a comment about your book?? *blinks innocently*
I can't wait to see what new snark will be between Toby and Tybalt.
