Desperately seeking Susan...or her mailing address, anyway.

YOU: Sent me a copy of A Local Habitation, along with return postage and copies of your own books. Said books have since vanished into my bedroom, victim of very large, very irritated blue cats.

ME: Confused urban fantasy author baffled by the lack of a return address on the envelope containing said return postage, and really hoping that you'll see this and email me with your information, so that I can send your book away before one of the cats eats it.

EVERYONE ELSE: When sending me a book to be signed (which you should never do without asking me first, as I am sometimes really, really bad about getting to the post office, and I refuse to be yelled at if I didn't commit to a timeline), please be sure to include a piece of paper including the proper spelling of your name and your full mailing address, along with any return postage we may have agreed upon. This will really speed up the process of getting your book back to you. Unless, of course, you're just sending me spare copies of my own books, in which case, gee, thanks! I can always use more books.

I so want picture of this... ok, any picture of Alice is always welcome, but how else am I going to convince my own kitties to step up their campaigns of terror and evil rather than be shown up by a blue *Maine Coon*, for goodness sakes?!

sometimes in the night, I would hear the sound of cardboard being crunched, and had dreams of giant termites... turned out it was the cats.

Hi there - that was me :-) I will email you with my address :-) You had given me permission to send them all on, awhile back. I'm glad at least they got there. :-) Were the victim books damaged too much to read by the kitties? I will send new copies if so...

Oh, you fully had permission, I just needed to know where to send it! And since I was making the post anyway...

I'm sure the books are fine. Alice just hides stuff when she's mad at me.

I myself have three dwarf bunnies - Nikita Tatiana and Anastasia - see icon. They are mad at me at the moment because I should be able to make it not hot outside, you see. ;-)

Alice would probably hide you under a bed as some form of elaborate feline punishment. She's best avoided.
