Sunil: Last night there was a giant spider on my ceiling.
Me: Did it skitter over your face in the night?
Sunil: I HATE YOU.
Sunil: (I considered opening this conversation with, "Seanan, do you promise not to make any characteristically Seanan comments?")
Me: Leg leg leg leg leg leg leg leg...
Me: (That would have been wise, yes.)

I love my friends.

But the Brown Huntsman spider feeds on things of evil, like silverfish! They eat book-eating insects!

They're also the size of a dinner plate.

I think Seanan herself said it best about Australia: chock-full of things to make you Get The Fuck Out Now. And that includes the spiders.
