In college, I used to use Zipitone, saving my hands from crosshatching and dotting. Do they still make that stuff? You could tell what was under it when you applied pressure to make the little designs transfer over.

I remember Wendy Pini of ElfQuest fame used it a lot, to good effect.

I have a large collection of Zipatone, and actually used it for the cover of the 2009 Conflikt program book. I just reserve it for special occasions.
