FEED spoiler party!

That entire section with Shaun and George in the van from when she's been pricked through the end of her last blog entry was my favorite part in the whole book. I loved their relationship and that whole scene was heartbreakingly perfect. I'm actually really looking forward to how Shaun does "without" George in the next book. (Of course, she's still part of his headspace, which I also love. It was never supposed to be him left behind, and I really like that his brain's reaction is to hold on to a piece of her personality.)

gridlore (as you may have known, Seanan) was sniper-trained in the Army. He had a similar "if the bad guys are gonna take me, shoot me first" agreement with his spotter, so that scene rang especially true for him.

(And confirm something for me, please - when I read the last blog entry, I was left with the impression that Georgia was typing it as she amplified; Doug thought it was being auto-transcribed. Which of us got it right?)

She was typing as she amplified. She was a very, very fast typist.

Looked to me like she was typing it as she converted it too.

Especially because of how erratic the typing got, which looked like hands having a hard time finding the keys or finding the right ones.
