Did Shaun ever do that interview with Emily? It was a big deal and then it was never mentioned again.

(I know you'll see it, but for anyone else interested, here's my review.)

Yes, he did. It just didn't wind up getting included in the final text. I should probably write it at some point, as like a "DVD extra" for the book.
