A Fictional. Possibly with Newsie tendencies... at least along the lines of 'Science Blogging' -- not so much the fieldwork. Considering the situation, I'd suspect a post-Rising me* would have gone into biology or medical research instead of astronomy. Depending on if the NSF's/NASA's budget gets gutted to fund the CDC and the NIH.

* That is, someone who grew up after the Rising.

Fictional, no contest. I *hate* going outside and getting dirty enough as it is. With KA running loose, LOL.

I'm terrified of needles.

Not as bad as I used to be because since I left NY I've found very gentle and sympathetic hypo-wielders.

But blood tests for getting into your own house, blood tests for getting into your own car, and likely your job -- I'd entirely lose my mind. I'd hire a team of Irwins and Newsies to go get the news so I could comment on it.

But I'd end up a germophobe, even though one could not catch cold anymore there's nothing saying you couldn't catch SARS or Bird Flu or Swine Flu and omg what would happen if KA decided it wanted to add those to its mutated little spiral?
