In which Seanan needs to submit things.

The Hugo voting packet is being assembled, and they want items from the Campbell nominees to allow voters to make a more informed choice. Since I want the tiara, I naturally want to put my best foot (and chainsaw) forward. We're submitting the first four chapters of Rosemary and Rue—what else should go in?

My bibliography is here, and up to date. It contains everything but the "Velveteen vs." series, which is archived elsewhere.

So...suggest. What should I send in? Justify your choices.

A cartoon in which you introduce yourself.
(This will show them you are multi-talented and deserve extra consideration)

An assortment of stories from your blog, lightly edited and presented as a collection of short stories.
(This will make them feel they know you, and everyone likes to vote for their friends...)

A downloadable MP3 of you telling your 'Microwave' story.
(This will make them laugh and make it impossible for them to forget who you are when they get around to voting. It will also make them want to hear your acceptance speech more than anyone else's)

I like the idea of including a comic! They stand out.

Sadly, this is a fiction-only award, and I can't submit things that aren't specifically fiction. So no comic strips. Although I may want to record an MP3 of the "Microwave" story, because it would be fun.

It would also be fun either on a cd or as a bonus pre-ordering feature.
