In which Seanan needs to submit things.

The Hugo voting packet is being assembled, and they want items from the Campbell nominees to allow voters to make a more informed choice. Since I want the tiara, I naturally want to put my best foot (and chainsaw) forward. We're submitting the first four chapters of Rosemary and Rue—what else should go in?

My bibliography is here, and up to date. It contains everything but the "Velveteen vs." series, which is archived elsewhere.

So...suggest. What should I send in? Justify your choices.

Help?

Honestly, send something from Feed if you can swing it. I think it's an even better representation of your talent than Rosemary and Rue. And I wouldn't suggest it if I didn't mean it. :>
I concur, if it is elgible. I loved Rosemary and Rue, but FEED I want to marry and settle down with and have a house with a picket fence and alien plants in the back yard and I'll cook like Betty Crocker and look like Donna Reed and... I think you get the picture.

It grabs from the very beginning. I read it yesterday while eating sushi. I read it while sitting at the park watching baby goslings while recovering from being stood up for a date, and it was so good that I was mostly okay that I had been stood up for the date. I'll stop babbling now.
...I sort of want that as a blurb. "This book is so good that it makes it mostly okay when you get stood up for a date."

So you like the book, dear?
And the award for understatement of the month goes to.... Seanan McGuire!!

And you may feel free to quote me, and expect a ginormous review when I'm done.
I've asked. Since that's a different publisher, I have to get approval before I can include it in my submission (and as of right now, more people who have voting privileges will have heard of Rosemary, which makes it a must).

I know you only suggest what you mean. :)
