1) Comment here.
2) Tell me your favorite thing about zombies, if you like.
3) Or you can tell me you're excited about the book. Whatever.
4) That's all.
I will draw a winner Monday morning (April 12th); entries will be accepted until then. This contest is open to all countries, because postage is spendy, but zombies are love. One entry per person, please.
Game on!

This is assuming shambling early-Romero zombies, not weirdly-sociopolitical quasi-still-alive late-Romero zombies. This is also assuming they're not the kind of zombies I personally write about, who would tend to take great offense at my words.

Well, no, that's not my favorite thing, but it's what I'm thinking about today. I think my favorite thing about zombies is that if they existed, it would justify my purchase of a titanium Halligan bar.

Also, I agree with the commenter who said that when the zombie apocalypse comes, we're all screwed, because we've heard so damn many rumors about how to kill a zombie that when the time comes, no one's going to agree, and we'll stand around arguing until we're eaten. Or, we'll fight, but of course pick the wrong method.

And who doesn't love trying to figure out how they'd survive the zombie apocalypse?

My favorite thing about zombies: the scary number of dreams I have had that combine Great Big Sea and zombies in some form. Like that time when I was about to go to a GBS show just after Shaun of the Dead came out and I woke up thinking that Alan Doyle bellowing "VERTICAL MOVEMENT" during the bridge of a song would be an entirely different experience with an audience of zombies.
I mean, it's very difficult to keep your undead limbs intact when you're bouncing up and down.

Also, can we say determination? NOTHING will stop that zombie from getting to your delicious gray matter.

OMGosh I am SOOOOO excited about getting this book, either in ARC or just regular release form into my hands!
Has everybody seen that Publisher's Weekly STARRED review? It was a rave.
Love Zombies, wonder about the news we watch, and think you're the bomb.
I hope that the random quarks and gluons of the universe select the pixels comprising my post!!!!!

I now return to being serious and formal.

I'm more of the 'books about politics and blogging are love', but doesn't have anything against zombies. Usually they just seem to be used as background elements, the unknowable Them.
Oh, I got Rosemary and Rue today :)

ALTHOUGH... brains are food for Zombies. Sometimes it's good to be Pooh (a bear of very little brains).
If I get my brain down to Pooh size (to be safe from zombies), will I still be able to read and understand FEED? This seems quite a dilemma.

I love Zombies, because they are mindless creatures, whose only need is to feed, and there is nothing better than watching a bunch of survivors fight off a horde. Well except for playing Left 4 Dead, and taking them out myself. If you ever get a chance, try the game, it's awesome when you blow up the boomers. The top part of the body explodes, and it leaves this bowl like shape of their bowls left in their lower half. My friends and I call it Boomer Bits--sounds like cereal doesn't it?
Peace out and good luck during the Z-Apocalypse!
