In honor of George Romero's birthday, I am giving away an ARC of Feed to one lucky commenter. This is a random draw giveaway. At noon Pacific tomorrow, I will use my magical random number generator and select a winner. They will then have until noon Pacific on Sunday to send me their mailing information (through my website), or I will pick another winner.
So please! Comment! Tell me your favorite thing about zombies, or why you want to read Feed, or what you'll do if you win, or whatever. (I mean, a comment beyond just "comment" is nice, but not strictly required.)
George Romero gave the world zombies. In honor of his birthday, so do I. Because zombies are love.
Goooooooooooooooooooood Morning! I would like to take this opportunity to state my undying love for you, in a totally non-creepy not stalkerish way. :)
My favorite thing is currently from Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, in which I liked the idea much more than the execution, that the zombies got brains and heads of cabbage confused. Imagine the possibilities in a cabbage cannon as a first line of defense... The power of Sweet Tomatoes in ridding the world of Zombie plagues. How LA would be overrun with svelte rotting shapes...
I know at least one person I would pass Feed on to in order to get her hooked on you. She likes zombies. She has zombie apocalypse dreams quite frequently, or so I've heard.
Zombies remind me of the night that my brother and I (in our teens) watched Night of the Living Dead all by ourselves, late at night... and rushed around during the first commercial break closing the curtains so that we wouldn't see them lurching up to the house.
Ahoy! Here be my comment to win yer booty, me hearty. Oh wait, this should be zombie themed. Yet I'm not sure how to comment in zombie lingo beyond "Braaaaaaaaiiinnnnssss!" Either way, what I'm trying to say is "I would like to please be considered for your lovely random drawing."
Comment - oh...should have read the whole thing. So I guess I shouldn't be smart assed...ummm...what to write...what to write. Should I mention I just gave away my copy of Rosemary and Rue? So now I need to buy another copy once I get a job again.
My experience with zombies is limited to Shaun of the Dead. I liked Rosemary and Rue and I'd like to see what you do with zombies. I think I'd like your treatment of them.

Most people end up using buck shot, simply because it is most available.
Solid slug is more effective, than it requires a slightly greater degree of marksmanship.
Bird shot is almost useless, you're better off clubbing the zombies with your shotgun rather than shooting them with bird shot.
