Help with family trees.

I need to design a graphic family tree for the InCryptid books, since family is such a central (and unavoidable) concept. Does anybody have any recommendations for ways to do this, or want to help me by putting a tree together? I won't promise to be your best friend, but I will look endearing and mention you in the acknowledgments...

If you find any good programs, I'd love to know about them. Most "real" family tree creator thingies are a bit expensive b/c of the cost of research stuff that's built into them. Unless you're into doing your own genealogy, too, I don't think they're worth it. I have used this free chart a few times just for basic visualization, but I don't think that's what you're looking for...

I tried Visio once and it just frustrated me. Then again, if you're not doing seven (Very Full) generations worth of people, it might work out OK.

I think there's a way to do a tree in Black Liquid Story Binder, but I haven't gotten that far with the program yet so I'm not 100% sure.

I've also been trying to convince Hubby to create a family tree program for me forever. If I ever accomplish this, I will be sure to let you know! :)
Hee. Thanks for keeping me posted.
