Quick notes for a Thursday morning.

1. I am about to head off for some fairly major full-anesthesia dental surgery. Why does this matter to you? This matters to you because my computer and my bed are in the same room, and it's entirely possible that I'll roll out from under the covers and decide to be...interactive. Please ignore any...interaction...for the next twenty-four hours, as I will be recovering from sedation, and know not what I say.

2. Alice woke me up by hopping onto my chest and trilling in my ear, only to run like the wind as soon as I showed signs of movement. Behold the sensibility and calm of the teenage Maine Coon.

3. The fall TV season is getting blessedly underway. I, for one, welcome the return of our Winchester overlords. Mmm, Sam and Dean. Actually, just mmm, Dean. How I've missed you. Never leave me like this again.

Mom just showed up to get me to the dentist, so these quick notes are even quicker than originally intended. In the meanwhile, drop by jimhines's place to see the LEGO HORROR CASTLE ZOMG.

My surgery was totally painless, because I was totally sedated. I love anesthesia so much.

I hope going to the dentist is painless and makes things much better in your mouth.

Have you thought about installing a no-drunk-dialing sort of program on LJ? ;) Of course, it would deprive us of many a wonderful post.

The "no-drunk-dialing" program would be "take the computer away," and then I'd just sit around hyperventilating. No fun.

To all: Seanan has called me to say she did not die under anesthesia. Her mom picked her up and is taking her to get calories and then putting her to bed. (I heard Mom's voice, too, so we know Seanan wasn't just imagining that part.)

I've been out every evening this week - I'm in the chorus of "The Producers", and opening night is tonight - so I'm not watching TV as it's broadcast. But Sharon recorded the season 6 opener of "So You Think You Can Dance", and I'm looking forward to watching it Saturday. Sharon tells me that Ryan does a challenge dance with another great tapper, and it's a joy to behold.

I'll be catching it on Tuesday, at Kate's place. I'm still not sure what I think of a fall season, given how booked my TV schedule already is in the fall, but I'll at least try to keep up.
