One month to go.

One month from today, Rosemary and Rue will be on shelves everywhere in the United States.

One month from today, all those Amazon pre-orders will start shipping out, arriving at their destinations bright and shiny and ready to be read.

One month from today, I stop freaking out about my book release, and start freaking out about my book. Which only seems like a nice change from a safe distance. I haven't been standing at a safe distance for a while now.

One month from today.

Dear sweet Coyote, we're almost there.

Time sure does fly!!
It really, really does.
my book/antho release is oct 1st. march of last year that seemed so far away! lol we're having a big signing / release party on oct 24th. am so not prepared to speak in front of people ... oy. lol
One month from today I am going to start badgering my f-list to buy and read Rosemary and Rue.

And then I am going to start saving my pennies to buy the next Toby Daye book. And the one after that. And the one after that.

Hooray!

You please me.
I'm at about page 165 in the ARC.

You have nothing to worry about, Seanan.
Well, thank you, very much. :)
Woot!

I'm excited for you!
Thank you! I'm terrified for me.
ooooooooooooooooooo!
Hee.
From what you've said earlier, I believe that purchasing my single copy has the most impact if I just wander into my local Borders and buy it off the shelf, so that is what I intend. But I'd be willing to ask them to reserve a copy for me, or even order it from that icky online store, if that would be somehow better for you. Unless someone unexpectedly gives me a job, I can't buy a dozen copies for sundry acquaintances, but I'd like to make the one I will buy count.
Yes, absolutely. Walk into Borders, give them money, and be glad. :) This gives Borders the sales figures, and gives me the brick-and-mortar sell rate.

Thank you so much for putting so much thought into this.
And with any luck that and several others will arrive just in time for my birthday. As I commented else-LJ this year is a bumper crop of new books by authors I like. I think I may take late September off in an orgy of new book reading *g*...

(And of course you can then start freaking out about the rest of the trilogy, and the sequel trilogy, and the other trilogy, and...)
I'm already freaking out!
