ROSEMARY AND RUE giveaway #7!

First off, giveaway #6 was won by

stormsdotter, for her fantastic (and first) suggestion of fan-art.

stormsdotter, email me your mailing address, and I'll pop an ARC into the mail for you when I get home.

Now, it's difficult to do fan-art for a book you haven't read yet, so...

I am taking entries in three categories. Photography (take a picture you think represents what you've heard about the book; post with as much or as little doctoring as you like, make a poster, whatever suits your fancy); icons (text, graphic, whatever makes you happy); and all other (actual art, collages, photo manipulation to turn people into elves...).

Post your entries here. I'll leave this open for two weeks, and then announce the winner or winners, depending on quality and quantity of entries. Please feel free to comment on and assess the entries as they go up.

Now, it's difficult to do fan-art for a book you haven't read yet...

That is precisely why I did not make this suggestion. :)
But yay for your interpretation of it. Sounds promising, regardless of whether I'll manage to participate (probably not, other time intensive priorities atm), so - looking forward to seeing what happens. :)

That's weird.... Uh, yeah, ow, blinky scrolly, but thanks for fixing the link URL - I *did* take the URL they gave for "permanent link" and it worked fine when I tested it, but I guess... something changed.

You pasted the link in, but you pasted it as text. That's how I found the story. But the link attached to the text was a combination of seanan's LJ url and the headline, which leads to LJ's cute 404 page.

hate to bother you again, have you posted to flicker? where is your flicker? looking for pictures of alice. I missed past posts about them been traveling to yellowstone and back.

Please, please try not to hijack threads on voting posts, as it confuses the issue of what is/is not an entry.

Well since I haven't read the book (OK, I stole a peek at the first chapter of Tom's and am itching for more!) and I'm a photographer, not an artist, I have nothing to go on but my impression of what October Daye means to me :D
