I...I...holy cats, people, IT'S A BOOK.

Rosemary and Rue was just reviewed by Publishers Weekly.

To quote (just a little, although wow do I wanna quote a lot more), "Well researched, sharply told, highly atmospheric and as brutal as any pulp detective tale, this promising start to a new urban fantasy series is sure to appeal to fans of Jim Butcher or Kim Harrison."

There is absolutely no way this football is being yanked away from me.

Holy cats.

2. I just did Illinois, and was in Boston last year. My current convention schedule is predominantly West Coast or outside the US, because that's just how it's balanced out. I'm not avoiding East Coast cons, they just haven't been inviting me as much, and when I'm paying my own way, West Coast wins.

I've actually been meaning to point out that you might want to talk to one of your Friendly Neighborhood Indie SF Bookstores about, at least for a limited time, taking orders for and shipping signed/personalized books. I'd be delighted to send some of my money that way instead of getting a copy locally, even if it cost more with shipping, if I could get one-or-several signed. Depending on their willingness, you could do a Must-Pre-Order, a limited order period (would be cool if it went until Giftmas, just sayin'), or open...
