I...I...holy cats, people, IT'S A BOOK.

Rosemary and Rue was just reviewed by Publishers Weekly.

To quote (just a little, although wow do I wanna quote a lot more), "Well researched, sharply told, highly atmospheric and as brutal as any pulp detective tale, this promising start to a new urban fantasy series is sure to appeal to fans of Jim Butcher or Kim Harrison."

There is absolutely no way this football is being yanked away from me.

Holy cats.

Sounds like it works out well all around. Although I question if it's really arrogant to simply acknowledge the truth, even if the truth is "I rock."
Current social standards say "yes." Which is annoying.
Agreed. Sometimes it's accurate to say "I'm the best at what I do," and sometimes it's possible to say that without being an arrogant twit, because somewehre out there, someone is the best at any given task. And lots of people are good at what they do, but very few can get away with saying so, except maybe Muhammad Ali, and that's just because if you questioned that he was the greatest at what he did, you ran the risk he'd prove it to you.

But in any event, I'll just spare you the conundrum and say that you're awesome for you. I'm counting the days till the release.
