I...I...holy cats, people, IT'S A BOOK.

Rosemary and Rue was just reviewed by Publishers Weekly.

To quote (just a little, although wow do I wanna quote a lot more), "Well researched, sharply told, highly atmospheric and as brutal as any pulp detective tale, this promising start to a new urban fantasy series is sure to appeal to fans of Jim Butcher or Kim Harrison."

There is absolutely no way this football is being yanked away from me.

Holy cats.

Thank you!
Large frickin' WHOO HOOs! :D
There is so much bounce and squeal right now, it's epic.
Congrats!!!
Can't wait to read it!!!
I have the glee.
While I've never managed to get into Butcher's books, for some reason, I know that he is well-liked by several of my friends.

Harrison, on the other hand, is on my "oh, look, new hardcover to SNAFFLE!" list.

Therefore, one and a half more reasons to snaffle your book as soon as it appears on the shelves, and pick up a spare for my friend from England. Yay!
Woo-hoo!
That's a really awesome review.
Yeah, I'm really happy.
Wow. That's awesome beyond all reasonable measure. I'm so happy for you. ::hugs:: Of course, it's nothing less than I expected, to be honest. :)
Yes, but see, if you expect it, you're being objective and encouraging. If I expect it, I'm being an arrogant twit. Therefore, I am stunned, and you get to be smug. :)

Awesome!!!

My manager just called me from work to say "I'm really glad you're coming in today, because a bunch of customers just stormed the customer service desk, talking about Publishers' Weekly and some author named McGuire -- is that your McGuire that you've been talking about?" Work is going to be fuuuuuuun... :)
