Please wash your hands with water and soap
Before you touch your dishes or your food.
Keeping things clean will help us to cope,
And careless virus vectors are just rude.

Water is good, you should drink it a lot;
Good hydration helps you to resist
Catching that virus that everyone's got.
So have another glass—I must insist!
Bodies need sleep if they want to stay strong,
So please admit that you should go to bed.
Down-time should be six to eight hours long
And sleep's more fun when you don't wake up dead.
They say that giving's better than receiving,
And if you agree, I think you should be leaving.
If you don't give it to me, then I won't give it to you,
And we'll all be okay, despite the pandemic flu.
You shouldn't freak out if you think that you're sick,
Just make some chicken soup and check the news.
If you need something else, they should tell you right quick,
And the ER just gives most of us the blues.
Remember to share when you go to the store;
Don't buy up all the bread because you're scared.
Take what you need and you can come back for more—
There's a difference between "panicked" and "prepared."

So in conclusion, the flu's not that bad,
Although it tends to frighten folks a lot.
