Author Guest of Honor: Wen Spencer.
Artist Guest of Honor: Billy Tackett.
Science Guest of Honor: Central Ohio Paranormal Society.
Costuming Guest of Honor: Tom Saveny.
Music Guest of Honor: Seanan McGuire.
So...Billy Tackett, who draws some of the best zombies in the business, the Central Ohio Paranormal Society, and me. I'm not familiar with the works of Wen Spencer or Tom Saveny, but I can already tell that we're going to have a pretty high "dead things" level at this convention. Somehow, this fails to bother me in any meaningful way.
Marcon!
It's gonna be a party.

So what are you going to do in a few years when you get conflicting invites to be both music and author GoH? Are you up for pulling double-duty? :-)

I didn't make it to Marcon this year but little did I know it was all because there was going to be an even better reason to go next year :).

Wen Spencer has two series I think you'd enjoy greatly, as well as a couple of singleton novels.
One series has a crossover of "our" world with that of a Fae world, set in Pittsburgh. First novel: Tinker.
The other series is creepy kewl, whose first book is called Alien Taste, about a feral boy turned investigator who learns a great deal about his mysterious abilities.
