This is CATZILLA.

Alice is four months old today (she was born on December 19th). I say my kitten is four months old, and people immediately form certain assumptions about her size. I'm sorry to say it, but these assumptions are, almost invariably, incorrect.

The following picture was taken earlier today.



Behold Catzilla! You may placate her with treats and feather toys. I recommend it, lest she decide to eat your hometown. (Also behold Lilly, who is sublimely unbothered by the imminent demise of man's reign.)

HOLY SHIT YOU HAVE A COPY OF MERMAID'S SONG?!?

That is one of my favorite books ever, and I don't know anybody else who's read it. I've seen three copies in my entire life; I own two of them.

My sister knew the writer and gave me an inscribed copy. Tall leggy blonde, as I recall, parents were diplomats. Drop dead gorgeous. Don't know if she wrote any others. I think she said she had the one book in her and wasn't sure if she had others.

I haven't read it in years now, but it's on my Read Again stack.

Occasionally my daughter mentions to her friends that I was at a party and talked with Neil Gaiman, so I know that squee mode.

OMG! I love that book so much. Now if I can find another copy of it. Lovely kitties by the way. Alice is beautiful and so is Lilly.

There are copies on Amazon and ABE; also, the Other Change of Hobbit currently has a copy on their rarities shelf, and they ship.
